CANADA’S DYNAMIC AUTOMOTIVE EVENT

the drive festival philosphy

Cars are meant to drive. Drive Festival is about dream cars driven at speed!

A lion in a cage is much less exciting than one in the wild. At Drive Festival the world’s most exciting cars will open up and unleash all of their performance, downforce and fury on our Dream Car Speed Run. Our features and test-drive opportunities are all about getting you up close to your dream cars.

Garage queens are nice to look at, but our organizers are auto enthusiasts who love to DRIVE. Performance, exotic, race, classic, off-road and luxury we love them all for different reasons. Whatever your automotive passions you can be sure that Drive Festival is inclusive of a fantastic variety of cars from the past, present and future.

We are excited to introduce Drive Festival as Canada’s new automotive experience for all brands. Stay tuned for more features and partnership announcements over the coming months. We are excited to bring our passion for cars and 60 years of combined event experience to Drive Festival and look forward to seeing you!

Drive Festival’s Venue: Canadian Tire Motorsport Park

ctire-park-flyby

Formerly known as Mosport, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is the perfect fit for Drive Festival. Located just north of Bowmanville, Ontario this venue is a one-hour drive from Toronto with even easier access via the new Hwy 407 extension.

Originally built in the 1950s the Grand Prix Track hosts IMSA, Nascar and a wide variety of races. The track was also the home of F1’s Grand Prix of Canada until 1977. In 2011 Canadian Motorsport Ventures Ltd. (CMV) which includes Orlando Corp. Chairman Carlo Fidani and Canadian road racing driver purchased the facility. Since that time many changes have taken place, including new facilities, track and park improvements. Drive Festival is thrilled to partner with such a world-class facility.

The Grand Prix Track is 4 Km in length and is known as a very high-speed track. Drive Festival is using an approximate 2.2 Km section in reverse for our Dream Car Speed Run. The elevation change and vantage points make an incredible experience for drivers and spectators alike. The

2.9 Km Driver Development Track is perfect for our on-road performance, and premium test drives with its 18 turns drivers will get to experience the vehicles fully! Just outside the Driver Development Track is a Skid Pad where demonstrations will also take place. The karting track will showcase autonomous technologies while a challenging off-road test track puts the SUVs and trucks to the test!

The 23,000 square foot Grand Prix Event Centre has unobstructed views of the Grand Prix Track and is the location of our VIP Pavilion. Sumptuous food, cocktails and premium parking, as well as VIP Pavilion access, are included with the VIP tickets.

Our Drive Festival philosophy is that cars are more exciting when driven. We look forward to seeing you at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on September 11-13, 2020. Get ready for Canada’s new automotive experience!
