TORONTO, ON (July 23, 2021) The 1st annual Drive Festival will play host to the 1900 hp Pininfarina Battista on its 2 km Dream Car Speed Run. This is the first time that Canadian automotive enthusiasts will have the opportunity to see the Battista hypercar at speed.
The Italian designed Battista will be Automobili Pininfarina’s first pure-electric luxury car. Electric power facilitates incredible performance targets. The Battista’s 120 kWh battery provides power to four electric motors – one at each wheel – that combine to produce 1,900 hp and 2,300 Nm (1,696 lb/ft) torque. Faster than a Formula 1 car – the Battista redefines automotive motion and brings a new reality to electric car desirability. No more than 150 editions of the Battista will be hand built by the world’s newest car brand Automobili Pininfarina.Automobili Pininfarina Design Director Luca Borgogno, designed the Battista to be aesthetically beautiful, unprecedented in its performance and pure in its output, with classic supercar proportions and a 300-mile electric range on a single charge.
